The Opera in Macerata & Pesaro tour is a memorably pleasurable experience, visiting picturesque mediaeval and Renaissance towns in the Marche region of Italy during the day, enjoying operas in distinctly enchanting venues in the balmy summer evenings.

Participants will see Faust (Bellini) and La Forza del Destino (Verdi) at an open-air arena in Macerata, and Demetrio e Polidoro, La Cenerentola and Sigismondo (Rossini) at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro.

Simon Rees, dramaturg for Welsh National Opera, leads the tour, a wonderful balance of music, art and architecture.
