The Danube Music Festival is our famed, annual festival along the River Danube, featuring music of the Austro-Hungarian Empire performed in palaces, churches, monasteries and other historic buildings. The audience lives and travels on one of the most modern and comfortable passenger ships on European waters – the Amadeus Classic – and there are daily talks on the music and the history of the region by a musicologist and historian.
A Festival of Music in Venice is a truly unique opportunity to hear the authentic sound of the golden age of Venice, with many of the world’s finest interpreters of period music – La Serenissima, Andreas Scholl, Accademia Bizantina, La Venexiana – performing in some of Europe’s most glorious venues.
