A Festival of Music in Venice

- Seven private concerts of Renaissance to Baroque period music.
- The seven contrasting venues include Palazzo Pisani Moretta, Ateneo Veneto, the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, Sta Maria dei Miracoli and the Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista.
- The performers are some of the world's leading specialists in the music of the period: The Gabrieli Consort, La Venexiana, La Serenissima, and many more.

Flights from London to Venice are included in the price of the festival. You can choose to join one of these or make your own flight arrangements (in which case there is a reduction in the price).
Regional airports
We are happy to quote for connecting flights from regional airports. Please request this on the booking form.
The no-flights option
There is a reduction of £140 for the package without flights.
Should you decide to join the festival at Venice Airport to coincide with one of our flight arrivals, you are welcome to join a water-taxi transfer to your hotel. If you arrive at another time you will have to make your own way to your hotel.
Arrive a day early
We offer a package for those wishing to arrive on 12th March which includes drinks reception and dinner and a night in the hotel of your choice. Please see individual hotels for prices.

We must stress that it is essential to cope with the walking and stair-climbing required to get to the concerts and other events. You should be able to walk unaided for at least thirty minutes and to be able to get on and off (sometimes pitching) water buses and taxis. Venice covers a large area, and there are the steps of numerous bridges to negotiate. Water taxis are not always an option, and festival staff will not have the resources to assist individuals with walking difficulties.
There is no age limit for participants in our music festivals.
I thought the programme was excellently planned with the right balance of free time to walks, talks and music. 
The range of venues provided the opportunity to really experience Venice. This has certainly opened my ears to a wide range of early music and the opportunity to see and hear the quality of musicians that we did in the venues was unforgettable. A perfect mix of education, culture and leisure wrapped up in a jewel of a city. When I think of all the planning that must have gone into this I am amazed; delighted with the thought shown in every detail.
