HOW STRENUOUS?

There is a quite a lot of walking, most of it over rough ground—you will need to lift your luggage on and off the train and wheel it within stations—average distance by coach per day: 71 miles.

We regret that applications from people aged 81 or over at the time of the tour will not be accepted.

SMALL GROUP
Between 12 and 22 participants.
GREEN POINTS

We travel by coach and Eurotunnel instead of flying, dramatically reducing CO2 emissions per passenger.

We stay at Hotel du Louvre, which is a member of the Concorde hotels group. Their restaurants use locally sourced and seasonal produce, stationery is made from 40% recycled materials, cleaning products are non-toxic and they have established a line of Ecocert-certified organic welcome products (toiletries).

TESTIMONIALS
Very impressive. Obviously a great deal of thought and preparation had gone into it. It was most effective.
The lecturer knows his subject thoroughly and really brings it to life. Brilliant.
Our lecturer was marvellous and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the subject.
It was an unforgettable 4 days–informative, interesting and emotional but always respectful and never rushed.
