The Mahler Festival Leipzig - Including All Nine Symphonies

there are two to choose from, located on foot five minutes apart and fifteen minutes from the concert hall: Park Hotel: a 4-star hotel, located on the edge of the old town, renovated in Art Deco style—quirky design displays plenty of wood and follows a vaguely nautical theme—not many twin-bedded rooms and clear glass windows separate the shower from bedroom. Marriott: a smart, traditional hotel, with lots of marble, pillars, wood, brass and comfortable easy chairs—located on a quiet pedestrian street just inside the old city—rooms are spacious, with cosy country-style furnishings and equipped to a high standard.
The music was wonderful. Every concert was a memorable and thrilling experience. 
If we could repeat any tour we have had with MRT since our first in 2000 – this one would be very high on our list.The Mahler symphonic integrale: words surpass me.
