Music in Nice & Monte-Carlo - Spring on the French Riviera

Opera in Nice & Monte-Carlo (31 March - 4 April 2011) is a new tour that attends two operas and an orchestral concert: Vivaldi's rarely performed opera Orlando Furioso at the Opéra de Nice, Rigoletto (Verdi) at the Salle Garnier, and a programme of Mozart with Alexandre Tharaud (piano) and the Regional Orchestra of Cannes-Provence at the Opéra de Nice.
Dennis Marks, former general director of ENO and head of music for the BBC, is lecturer on this small-group tour, which also visits some of the great galleries in Nice, St Jean Cap Ferrat and Monaco.
