Dr Charles Nicholl discusses Literature & Walking in the Lake District on Classic FM

Last week, MRT lecturer Dr Charles Nicholl appeared on South Africa’s Classic FM in an interview about our tour, Literature & Walking in the Lake District.
Dr Nicholl discusses the change of attitudes towards the wild countryside of the north in the 18th century that led to the rise of rural tourism, which in turn inspired great writers and romantic poets alike.
