Dr Marta Cacho Casal

An art historian specialising in Hispanic and Italian Early Modern Art, she is an Affiliated Lecturer in the Department of History of Art at the University of Cambridge. She trained at The Warburg Institute, London and the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. She previously worked at The British Museum, in the Department of Prints and Drawings, and has published extensively including articles for The Burlington Magazine and several journals. She has been awarded prestigious research awards in Florence and New York, and has been a member of research groups at the University of Cambridge. She has lived in Spain, Italy, England and America.
