Carefully programmed to provide an illuminating sequence, in October The Endellion String Quartet perform in Lavenham, while in November The Albion Quartet join us in Taunton. In both locations you’ll enjoy the intimacy and intensity of a recital hall little bigger that a large drawing room, including quartets by Haydn, Beethoven, Dvorak, Schubert, Mendelssohn and Janáček.
Designed to stimulate the mind as well as enchanting the aesthetic sensibilities, pre-concert talks by a musicologist are also incorporated. Accommodation is included in the package price, as are most meals.
But don’t just take our word for it:
'The Endellion Quartet matched our high expectations as one of the leading Quartets on the current musical scene - and individually they were such nice people!' - a previous Martin Randall Travel participant.
'Outstanding concerts - the one by the Albion Quartet being totally "knock out" and wonderfully deeply felt.' - a previous Martin Randall Travel participant.
