Dr Ellen Jones

Egyptologist, archaeologist and classics teacher. She received her DPhil from the University of Oxford in Egyptology, focusing on the relationship between gender, self-presentation and religious decorum in ancient Egyptian funerary iconography. She is a member of two epigraphic missions to Egypt, specialising in digital epigraphy, photogrammetry and photography. Her archaeological fieldwork has been published in public journal series “Egyptian Archaeology” and “Nekhen News”.
