Lizzie Watson

Lizzie Watson brings a lifetime of immersion in classical music to her role as Artistic Director. Born into a musical family as the daughter of a concert pianist and trained as a violinist from an early age, she describes music as her first and most natural language. This long affinity is bolstered by her linguistic expertise in German and Italian. Working at MRT since 2008, she has been involved in the planning and programming of almost every MRT music festival.
