Cultural tours in Prague
Few cities carry their architecture as continuously as Prague. Baroque palaces built under Habsburg rule stand a few streets from Cubist apartment blocks that rose as a newly independent republic found its own style, and outlasted occupation and four decades of Communist rule to remain largely unaltered today.
Led by specialists in Czech art, architecture and history, our tours move from the obvious set-pieces – Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge – to the city's private corners: an after-hours visit to the Cathedral of St Vitus, and interiors, like Adolf Loos's Villa Müller, rarely open to visitors at all.
