Practicalities

Two sharing: A$5,860 or A$5,390 without flights. Single occupancy: A$6,590 or A$6,120 without flights.

Travel by private coach throughout; hotel accommodation; breakfasts, 1 lunch and 3 dinners with wine, water, coffee; all admissions; all tips for waiters; all state and airport taxes; the services of the lecturer and tour manager. 

Westin Grand Berlin: a 5-star hotel built in the 1980s and renovated in a classicist style, located on the corner of Unter den Linden and Friedrichstraße. Single rooms are doubles for sole use.

The tour involves a considerable amount of walking and a lot of standing in museums and churches. A good level of fitness is essential. You will be on your feet for lengthy stretches of time. Average distance by coach per day: 12 miles.
