Dr Michael Douglas-Scott discusses Venetian Palaces on Classic FM

Last week Dr Michael Douglas-Scott was invited on to South Africa’s Classic FM to discuss our Venetian Palaces tour.

In his interview with Tamara LePine-Williams, Michael discusses the wealth and politics of noble Venetian society. He also talks about the effect of tourism on the city, and explains that the slow pace and low angle of a gondola ride is the ideal method for examining the palaces in detail.
