Walking tours
Our walking tours offer countryside hikes as an integral ingredient, in addition to a healthy amount of cultural content on other themes. We walk to English country houses, Italian villas and trek through Tuscany. We follow in the footsteps of countless pilgrims en route to Santiago de Compostela and the Romans along Hadrian’s Wall.
These tours require a different scale of fitness and agility. An indication of the walking involved on each of these tours, with details about distances covered and terrain, is included in each tour description, and we ask that you read this carefully before making a booking. We also use a grading system, both for individual walks and also tours as a whole.
