Dr Zoe Opacic

Zoe received her BA, MA and PhD at the Courtauld Institute of Art and she is now a lecturer in medieval art, architecture and urbanism at Birkbeck College. A Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, she has written and edited a number of publications in English, German, Czech and Italian including recent contributions to the Oxford Handbook of Medieval Central Europe and the Brill Companion to Medieval Vienna. Zoë has longstanding family connections in Dalmatia and is a regular lecturer on MRT tours there, as well as to Poland, Italy and the Czech Republic.
