Our cultural tours of Austria embrace both the country’s rich musical traditions and its former status as the cradle of the Habsburg empire.

Vienna features prominently on several itineraries – its art treasures and Baroque palaces as well as outstanding musical and operatic productions – but we also offer a festival of Haydn’s work in the small town where it was first heard, the annual Schubertiade in the mountain villages of the Vorarlberg, and a glorious Mozart immersion in Salzburg of works written and first performed there.

As always, private visits figure prominently and the performing artists – including Ian Bostridge, Anne Sofie von Otter and Igor Levit – and tour lecturers, such as Dr Jarl Kremeier, are top-class. A medley of tours to strike a chord with all lovers of music and culture.
