Lia Arguello

Lia joined the Operations team at Martin Randall Travel in 2026 after graduating from the University of Cambridge. She has a background in languages, having received from a young age a bilingual education in Spanish and English. At Cambridge, she read Modern and Medieval Languages, Italian and French, for her Bachelor of Arts, followed by a Master of Philosophy in Film & Screen. Her final dissertation for her MPhil focused on the use of art and sculpture to trace an image of the beloved in the Italian film ‘La Chimera’.

During her studies, she enjoyed a year abroad studying Art history and Italian language & literature in Venice. Much of her time there was spent in the many wonderful museums, galleries, and palazzi that the island has to offer, where she got to experience first-hand the works of art that were at the heart of her lectures.

An enthusiast for all things related to arts and culture, outside of work Lia enjoys spending her time visiting London’s art galleries, going to the cinema, and reading.
