Sam Newton

Sam joined MRT in 2023, shortly after graduating from Trinity College, Cambridge, where he studied French and German. During his degree, he took a semester of West Slavonic Studies at Leipzig University, then worked as an intern for the Parisian art and auctions magazine La Gazette Drouot. 

Sam’s main passion is singing. During his time at university he held a choral scholarship with the Choir of Trinity College Cambridge under Stephen Layton and was active as a performer and committee member for the college music society. Sam also sang briefly with Leipzig’s GewandhausChor and now sings at St Michael at the North Gate in Oxford.
