Louise Maguire

Louise joined MRT in 2025 following a Master’s degree in History of Design at the Victoria & Albert Museum and Royal College of Art. Having previously studied multi-disciplinary crafts, including metalwork and ceramics, Louise’s research focused on the application of craft in the interior, alongside architectural and landscape design. Her Master’s dissertation explored the secularisation of stained glass in late Georgian Britain.

Louise has previously worked as a volunteer collections assistant at the V&A and National Trust. She enjoys visiting exhibitions and indulging her creative side. She is a keen reader and baker.
