Cultural tours in Tuscany

There is more great art, architecture and landscape concentrated in Tuscany than almost anywhere else in Italy. Our small-group tours take you straight to the heart of it. We move between the perfectly preserved Renaissance ramparts of Lucca and surrounding hilltop towns. We study the scallop-shaped piazza of Siena, one of the most beautiful urban spaces in the world, and Duccio's Maestà, the finest of all medieval altarpieces. And then there is Florence itself: no other city can rival it for the sheer concentration of first-rate art, from Giotto and Donatello to Botticelli and Michelangelo, many works still in the buildings for which they were created.
